Excellent 1990 Kyosho 1/10 Mclaren Honda Mp4/5b F1 Car

1990 Kyosho McLaren Honda MP4/5B Formula One car in excellent cosmetic / mechanical condition and almost ready to run, kit number 4202.  This car drives well and was driven once on carpet for testing after the build was completed during 1991.  Sadly, I was not able to locate the transmitter although the Kyosho AM receiver is still installed in the car.  The body presents well and has been professionally painted.  The original tires are in great condition as pictured.  The stock brushed motor was upgraded to a Kyosho SPA 240WS modified motor that was much faster than the original.  The box condition is 8.5 of 10 with minor storage wear at each end.  The owner's manual and a small bag of parts are also included.  The body uses internal plastic mounts and one of the three mounts was not available to include (front mount) although it would not be needed for display. Overall, this McLaren Honda MP4/5B is an excellent example of this rare formula one car.  Historically, it was driven by Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger during the 1990 F1 season.  Senna won the driver's championship for that year with this F1 in a close rivalry with Alain Prost.  This McLaren Honda MP4/5B is almost ready to drive and is certainly ready for display.
